ncas_amof_netcdf_template documentation
=======================================

ncas_amof_netcdf_template is a Python module to help `NCAS <https://ncas.ac.uk/>`_ instrument scientists create netCDF files that meet the `NCAS-GENERAL netCDF metadata standard <https://sites.google.com/ncas.ac.uk/ncasobservations/home/data-project/ncas-data-standards/ncas-amof>`_, starting with version 2.0 of the standard. This standard is based on version 1.6 of the `CF metadata conventions <https://cfconventions.org/cf-conventions/v1.6.0/cf-conventions.html>`_, with additional information required regarding the instrument used and the state of its deployment.
